Chapter Helios Agias Marina's Picnic

Thanks to all members who came out to Anderson Park on Saturday, July 19 for our chapter picnic. It was a beautiful summer day with a nice breeze and great view of Lake Tarpon. Members enjoyed a picnic lunch and a chance to catch up on everyone's summer activities. We all had an enjoyable afternoon and spoke about gathering again in one of the area's many county parks for a future meeting .

Greek Independence Day Parade 2008

Chapter #19 Helios once again took part in the Greek Independence Day parade in Tarpon Springs on Sunday, March 30th. Many members came out to march and enjoy the blue skies and gorgeous day. After the parade, a spaghetti dinner was held at the leski. Helios members and friends gathered for a good time and good food.

Pan-Icarian Youth Leadership Conference

Chapter Helios hosted the 4th annual Youth Leadership Conference this past weekend January 25 - 27, 2008. It was a great success as we had representation from many of the chapters. A fun-filled weekend was enjoyed by over 30 youth. Thanks to Diana Plutis & Chris Tsambis of Helios chapter for taking charge and delivering a successful event!

Chapter Helios #19 Winter Dance

Chapter Helios #19 held their Winter Dance on Saturday, January 26. It was a great success with guests attending from all corners of the country!

Supreme Lodge Meeting Clearwater, FL

Chapter Helios hosted the Supreme Lodge Meeting this past weekend January 26. The meeting was in conjunction with the 4th Annual Pan-Icarian Youth Leadership Conference and the Chapter Helios Winter Glendi.

Pan-Icarian Youth Conference

Chapter #19 Helios is proud to host the Fourth Annual Youth Leadership Conference. The conference will be held in conjunction with our Winter Glendi the weekend of January 25 - 27 2008.
A weekend of fun activities is being planned including dinner, a night out, the conference on Saturday afternoon and admission to our dinner and dance on Saturday night. Plans are being made now to host the event at Sheppard's Beach Resort on Clearwater Beach with the dance being held at Holy Trinity Church in Clearwater.
All chapter presidents are encouraged to contact Diana Plutis ASAP at dianaplutis@yahoo.com with a list of 2 delegates who will be attending (food and lodging paid for by the Supreme Lodge). Any other youth members (18-30) can also attend at their own expense. The Supreme Lodge encourages all local chapters to assist those other interested members by covering their travel and lodging expenses — support our youth!!

2007 Convention in Baltimore

Thanks to Chapter #16 Lefkas for hosting a very enjoyable and successful convention in Baltimore. Many of our members attended and had a wonderful time. We hope to see everyone at our Winter Dance and Glendi in January - more details will follow.

Chapter Helios Agias Marinas Picnic

On Saturday, July 14 Chapter Helios celebrated Agias Marinas at Fred Howard Park in Tarpon Springs. We had a fairly good turnout considering most members had already left for Ikaria. Thanks to all who attended!!
