Chapter Meeting and other news!

Dear Fellow Members,

The summer is over and fall is upon us already! We have a couple of exciting things planned for the end of the year, the first of which is a Chapter Meeting on Thursday, November 17th. It will take place at Twohey’s Restaurant located at 1224 N. Atlantic Blvd. in Alhambra. The meeting will promptly begin at 6 p.m. and will not last longer than two hours. We understand it is a weeknight, and everyone has commitments back at home, but we would appreciate your attendance. We will be discussing the possibility of hosting the 2008 National Pan-Icarian convention and other various topics. Secondly, we are planning a Christmas Party on Saturday, December 10th, location to be determined. We are still ironing out the details, but please save the date!
Since we prefer not to mix business with the festivities of the season, we would like to hold Chapter elections on Saturday, January 21st, 2006. Please contact any of the officers with your interest in running for any of the four positions; President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. We would like to have ballots made up for the election meeting if there is more than one person running for one office. We would like to encourage the members who are able, to consider running for office and continue the traditions of the Pan-Icarian Brotherhood. Your participation is needed and most appreciated!
Lastly, we are planning a Past President’s Dinner in honor of all our faithful and hard-working past Presidents. We are looking at locations and dates in February. Please contact us if you have any suggestions for locations with fair prices.
